About us

At Super Chill Foundation, we believe that mental resilience is the
cornerstone of a resilient life. That’s why we are fully committed to strengthening this resilience in elementary school children from the age of 6. In April 2024, we have launched a complete rebranding and repositioning of Super Chill, resulting in new exercises, a new website, and an interactive app. With already 10,000 downloads, we are well on our way, but our ambition is grand; we aim to help 10 million children in Europe develop a healthy and positive mindset. As the Country Manager for Germany and Austria, you play an indispensable role in realizing this mission.

Job Description

In your role at the Super Chill Foundation, you will be responsible for developing, implementing, and evaluating the market entry strategy in Germany and Austria. You know the countries, the media landscape, and how to establish the right partnerships to gain traction quickly. You are responsible for the successful introduction, measured by reach and the number of app downloads. You are the link between what is conceived and executed in the Netherlands and what is suitable for the local markets in Germany and Austria. Together, we are building a mentally resilient generation throughout Europe. You will work preferably from Germany, where you have your powerful network. Obviously you will be in close contact with the Amsterdam based team that is part of the NOA Collective, experts in growing impactful brands!

Responsibilities

● Develop and execute a comprehensive market entry strategy for Germany and Austria.
● Conduct market research to identify opportunities and challenges specific to these regions.
● Establish and grow the brand presence in local markets.
● Ensure all operations comply with local regulations and industry standards.
● Liaise with legal advisors to navigate the regulatory landscape effectively.
● Drive downloads and brand recognition in Germany and Austria.
● Identify and pursue new partnerships, and collaborations.
● Develop and manage relationships with key stakeholders, including media partners, and customers.
● Adopt and implement localized marketing and media strategies and campaigns.
● Manage public relations efforts to enhance brand visibility and reputation.
● Oversee social media, advertising, and promotional activities tailored to local audiences.
● Ensure cost-effective operations and optimal resource allocation.
● Provide regular reports on market performance, download and adoption metrics, and operational efficiency to senior management.
● Utilize data (analytics) to inform decision-making and strategy adjustments.
● Contribute to the overall strategic planning of Super Chill’s expansion in Europe.
● Continuously assess and adapt strategies to meet changing market conditions and needs.

Function Demands for the Role

 

Experience and expertise
● Minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in the
education or mental health sector.
● Proven track record of successfully launching and/or scaling products or
services in Germany and Austria.
● Strong understanding of the local media landscape and market dynamics.

Skills
● Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
● Strong leadership and team management abilities.
● Strategic thinking and problem-solving skills.
● Proficiency in market research and data analysis.
● Fluency in German and English; knowledge of other languages is a plus.

Education
● Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field. A master’s degree is preferred.
